I recently purchased a 1979 K10 that has been 350 swapped. (It was an I6 flavor from the factory.) EVERYTHING leaks. The direction the truck travels in is only vaguely related to what you do with the steering wheel. It's mostly made of rust. It's going to be an adventure! I'm looking forward to swapping tips, stories, and maybe parts with you all.

Welcome aboard!

Pics or it didn't happen.

You say your truck is "mostly made of rust" but that you also live in Denver, something doesn't add up. You talking surface rust? That's cosmetic. I bought my 'Burb on the front range (it wasn't cared for in the least) and the frame is still factory black after spending 7 years here in the land of rust (New England). My old man has pulled Datsuns out of fields in CO after 20-30 years and they had some slight bubbling in the lower quarters. Stuff doesn't rust out there, you're semi-arid. Please show me this truck that's "made out of rust", or tell me where it spent most of its life lol

Doesn’t matter how wet it is, so much as what concoction of beet juice they use on the road.

they only started using that crap out there the last handful of years. Unless someone completely didn't understand the concept of rinsing it off once in a while, I bet the truck is still more solid than dude is giving himself credit for
