I would do a spray in bed liner or even some brands of roll on perpetration is the key. Body filler in the bed wouldn't handle to much flexing without separating from metal. Metal to metal is usually to cover small gaps and is not the easiest to sand. IMO

A roll on liner is not going to stop dents from happening.

Preparation is key to keep it from peeling off but is not as thick as the spray on liners

But any of them will mask the appearance of dents obviously not larger ones and it won't completely hide them just less noticeable.

Drop in will. But the commercial spray ins will protect it from some dents.

That's true. I always do the professional spray in because it does make it stronger and is on thicker than the DIY roll on

I have been using the raptor liner and it has been great. Its sprayed on and can be color matched. It holds up a lot better then the roll on liners
