So I originally thought I had an issue with valve stem seals cause I get a little blue smoke on startup. The thing is it only happens when I crank the engine when it's already warm. And sometimes it will do it under load or in reverse. But again it's not much and not every time. Just trying to get some insight on what's going on before I make my next move. Other than that motor runs great. Plenty of power. I'm thinking it's piston rings. Thanks.

Does sound like valve seals. Will eat more oil under high vacuum, ie idle.

Borescope then wet and dry compression test. Bad rings, offending cylinder will be clean on the edges.

Depending on the year, heads could already be cut for PC seals.

Oil smoke under load will usually be rings.

If automatic check vacuum modulator.

Hit some odd key disregard lines.
