I tried Vinegar once. Hoses got very tight (under a lot of pressure) and when I opened the cap (when cool) it blew vinegar all over the engine compartment and even after flushing with a lot of fresh water there are still rust stains everywhere. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Let me know what works as it needed a radiator and still does and I want to do a good flush before I replace it.
