The best way for front speaker sound in that truck are the Q-Logic kick panels. They will hold 6.5 inch component speakers. They are $200 for a pair.

Have you thought about UTV speaker bars? I have mounted some with some very strong n52 magnets on the inner roof. They are Bluetooth. Most have a radio built in. They are very loud. Not permanent. Some even come with steering wheel controls and will cost less than most stereo systems. You don't have to buy a radio, amp or speakers. It is all included.

I have decided to fab up some raised speaker pods in the far corners of the dash pad. Going to go with 3.5” speakers angled up and inward. Then stretch fleece over and coat entire dash in polyresin. I will fiberglass reinforce the inside of each pod. Then skim coat body filler, sand, and paint.

Dashpad will still be flexible enough to install. Speakers will be in corners out of way of field of view. And will look like they belong being a smooth one piece dash.
