Trying to decide on what Brand tire to go with? BFG or Cooper? Pros or cons? On a set of GMC Rallys 15"x8" 275/60/15.

heres a coopercobra, the bfg "t/a" would be the traditional but pricey one.

then therte is AT tires. Cooper is cheap and great perfformance. bf good ich has the looks and also considered often to be better at certain things definitely, but the cooper definitely works great for "jack of alll trades" on my f150,2wd, if I had free money for a set of 5 tires, I would probably choose a load range D LT AT3 or a "HD" p rated at3
that difference does exist in AT3s but its been a couple years so I havrnt looked

The old school BFGs are still my first pick.. but in lager sizes to be fair. 33 and up. The 35s tread becomes a mud ire at that size. Good on ice, and snow. That truck is insanely beautiful btw.

mud tires are very bad at ice snow, you want narrow and you dont want evacuation on tread. im sure they perform its just common things the man doesnt want you to know, like snow tires are usually cheap and the righ

BFG and coke lol
You're to damn young to have a opinion @78C10BigTen Ted.....lol...I just go back to the 70s and remember the old bfg tires that had the belts that went to hell in very few miles......I lost 2 in 2 days and the 3rd one 6 days after that.....Maybe they are better now, I'll let you find out. Just know my Coopers are a good tire and WAY less money than the bfgs........AND always been a Pepsi fan NEVER coke!!!

I vote coopers...price point and durability. My coopers on my ram have been up and down the mountains in OK and work hard everyday. When my Maxxis wear out on the burb, I'll stick with them as well. Love bfg's though $$$

I have recently purchased a set of Coopers for my truck.
They are the 265/75/16 variety, so not the same as you are looking for, but they have been great so far.
