These??7.00-15LT Deestone 503s. Remember the Grip Spurs we all “had to have” way back when? Or the BFG Silvertown Mudder? Still have viable 7.00-15 tube type Silvertowns on a 1949 Dodge 1/2t sporting 1978 Ramcharger tubeless factory wheels. Those tires are over 50 years old and still suitable for putting around the farm… Have outlasted 3 trucks and 2 sets of wheels…
Yes. Most people now won’t use them on a street driven truck. My grandfathers were in agriculture, maternal was a farmer, paternal a cattleman. Father in law was a cattleman. Childhood neighbor was a cattleman, horse logger and former muleskinner. These??

That sounds good. ThanksPep Boys specials Solaris Starfire HT. Poor man's Michelin Defenders.
Any H/T will be the best for wear. Take your pick. Most H/T tires will come with a mileage warranty too. Heck, even ATs do for the most part, but I never get that far as I replace them before they get to the wear barsWhat are the best tires for wear? 15inch rims. 1978. GMC K15. thanks ya'll

If Power King 9.00-16LT was still available in the states, they would be on my K3500. Since they are not, going Deestone 503 in 7.50-16LT (235/85r16 in modern). Can still get both Piwer King and Silvertown Mudders brand new, in Mexico, too far from TN.
I have a set of -very- early Interco TSL radials in 33-10.5r15. Have worn like iron, ready to go on their 4th rig. The newer ones are too soft of a compound, wear like Chinesium.
If you want a long lasting modern tire, BFG, Hankook, General. If you stepped the truck up to gmt800 16” take off wheels, I would happily reccomend Wrangler Authority in LT265/75r16 (31-10.5). Made in Canada, 3 peak winter rated, studdable, wear like wrought iron… Ran them on a K1500, run them on the rear of a K3500.
I LOVE and have had great luck with bfg's! (Only MTs). Ill NEVER buy any goodyears again!I'll just throw this out here. Many new medium duty trucks are supplied with Michelin tires, probably the best(?) Tires are the highest item cost to maintain a fleet.(fact) We replace most with Firestone Transforce tires. Cost is the big factor. While the 'Stones are not as good as the 'Miches, they hold there own in our abused fleet operation.
I run Firestones, I'll never buy Wranglers (Goodyear) again. If I wanted to spend more money, I would run B.F.Goodrich TA's.. pick your tread.
