Wow that is pretty close. That green was the most popular color for sure. Here is a couple snap shots of the OG Chevy right down the street from the driveway I found my '87 in. I took these while driving by...SLOWLY. Sorry for the blurriness. I think this could be a 1951?
Not yet, I plan on dailying it in the summer, along with my 84 I've been daily driving. It's a project, was sitting on my family's farm for 40+ years, that I know of. Was my great grandpas truck. I need better pics as well.I will get a better picture. I promise. This truck looks cool as hell but probably can't run. Do you drive yours?
I have to get it roadworthy to get a new title made, don't know what they classify it as. Abandoned vehicle since it hasn't been titled in so long. But I have to get all the legalities taken care of to title it before I can do the real fun stuff since I have no papers of any kind for it. Lights, glass, suspension, brakes. Just so they don't give me any hassle in the inspection. Then I'll get to do the customizing. I'm gonna be working on it on the side, along with doing my dually and tinkering on my others. Was planning on making a thread here soonish. That truck is killer and it was your Great Grandpa's. You have to bring it back to streets. I can't wait to see what you do! Keep us posted...and the more I drive past this one near my house the more I seriously contemplate how and where I could get it for myself to bring back to life.
