I am no "mall crawler" and my truck don't pose for nuthin but pix.
That said i'm no mud dog neither..QQ
It's my WORK TRUCK and it goes where I tell it to. That's it's job.
I have been VERY impressed with the capability of the FIRESTONE Destination MT.

They are LOUD :imo: but I can't get it stuck.

Right? I was trying NOT to get stuck while 3 cops and 2 deputies were watching. BB pulled through much to their amazement AND mine. I thought we were done for.

I'm not a mud tire guy and will not buy another set, but these f*ckers WORK. It's incredible.
I'm a tough sale. I don't like them, but they work.

Fair enough?

I know this is controversial to some but my favorite all around tire are the BFG All-Terrain... Even the old school originals.
Now so,me guys will curse and swear how they wore out in 100 miles but I have had the most amazing life out of them myself.
I have experience with 31, 32 and 33" only. Also the ten ply in 31, which is heavy and a harder rubber than the others.
I have 5 of the 35" by 16s bought last year when BFG offered a factory sale. The larger the tire the larger the tread design.
They basically become mud tires at this size.
And I have used them with great results driving in BC winters. Yes they are slippery on ice but what isn't...? Oh yeah, studded soft
compound winter tires are better.

I used to run a set of Widetrack Baja MT, they were made by Firestone and nearly the same tire. They were a fantastic tire in mud and snow.

A couple weeks ago, I nearly bought a set of those Firestones for the '00 Burb, but decided to try something new. Went with a set of Dick Cepek Extreme Country's, and the little bit we've run them, they are a great tire in mud too. They haven't seen snow yet.

Looks like an old Ground Hawg. But that tire in the pic is at least a 20" ***... I mean size.
