I've got an 82 chevy with 2.5 inch BDS springs and shocks in the front. Blocks and BDS shocks in the back. Lift was installed about 8 years ago. I went BDS at the time thinking the ride would be good. It wasn't. Still rides like a dump truck. Thinking about a set of 3" tuff country EZ rides. Will they ride better?

I have the 3" tuff country EZ ride on my 85. It rides rough too. A little bouncy.

I just installed the 3" EZ rides with blocks in back, went for their nitrogen shock as well.
My truck had stock springs on it and it rides much better with the 3" springs. Still a solid axle leaf spring truck no doubt, but better.

I had a 2002 f250 at work we just sold that was the back breaker made my 87 3/4 with 4 inch suspension lift (bds) feel like a cadilac

4in ez rates and a 4in shackle flip in rear with RS9000 series shocks. Rides a ton better than the factory springs and shocks on it before.

I have not ran tuff country before nor bds but make sure you dont have an add a leaf in the back , (that will kill your ride) , All my square's have skyjacker soft rides on them and they ride great .All of my trucks have 6" and up lifts though but anyway , I either run rancho 9000's on one or bilstein 5125's shocks on my lifted square's , I also chuck the sway bar in the dumpster , (but thats just me).My wife drives my blazer with 9" of lift and 38's all the time down the highway at 70mph and she loves the ride.Main thing is with a pick up you dont want an add a leaf in the back for lift reasons.

I have Bilsteins and have ditched the front sway bar. It rides better than it did when stock.

I have tossed the swaybar on all of my lifted square's , the only way to go and dont even notice it gone on the hwy. at 70mph + , even my cute little wife drives it like she stole it with no complaints.

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Allows the suspension to flex better and further. 4x4's aren't for street cornering, they're for off-road. Not much need for it, especially if you have stiffer lift springs.

I've run 4 inch BDS springs on my Burb and have always been pleased with the ride quality? It rides about the same as the stock springs, maybe slightly better. Flex off road is very respectable.
