I found a good deal on a 2015 like new Dually truck 3500 with 10K for miles.

only thing is the truck rolled over real good. motor sits crooked in the engine bay and it ripped the trans mount(rubber part) right off the trans mount.. Motor looks ok and not damaged at all.Same for trans.

Just curious if something that violent of a crash could hurt anything internally..

Thanks all.

6.0 non VVT, 6l90E

I would like to put this in my 86 stepside.

You actually have better chance of it being OK being it was in a roll over than if it were in a smashed head on type impact. The centrifical force of the roll is probably what broke the trans mount. Are you getting the whole truck where you're getting the ECM and wiring harness too? That's the best way to buy a set up. Many guys buy totalled trucks from IAA or Copart for LS Swaps.

it certainly could, but I've seen plenty of junkyard and wrecked engines be refreshed and put right in a project. As long as the mounts are straight you should be fine

If it didnt take a hard hit on the harmonic balancer, or, if it was rolled over and the engine immediately shut down, it should be okay, IMO.
Check the transmission case though, it could be cracked.

I get all my wiring from PSI conversions.. Awesome people and products. I use their ECM and TCM's also.
I just buy the complete kit so I know the swap will always work. They have never failed me. getting the
6/speed paddle shifter from them also.

They have a kit for VVT and cylinder cancelation? Nice truck too!

They have everything you need, You just tell them what swap your doing. They have a few different kits.
The ONLY thing they cannot do for me is use a 6.0 VVT engine with a T56 magnum. Speartech can do it
but could not guarantee it would work correctly.

Yea so no cylinder cancelation then because the way I understand it that's how they do it. And VVT is a good thing to have gives a real nice power curve. And the cruising fuel mileage of cylinder cancellation is an added bonus.

Nice I was wondering what was under the cover. What kind of mileage does it get, does it swap cylinders at cruise speed?

Oh ok kind of the same side profile on the nose. What's in that an LSA? I hadn't noticed the covered car in the pic with the T/A
