LOL....yeah, I did mine back in '04 and weren't putting it back in so we just got it out how we could and didn't think about the easiest way :)

I would just pull the fill hose off at the tank and siphon the gas out. might have to jack the front of the truck up a little to make the rear of the tank the lowest point. you will get 98% of the old gas out this way. done this a few times. highdesertranger

You guys all **** around too much.

Pull the line going to the carb and direct it to a bucket you can put a lid on. Wrap some rags around a blow gun and stick down the filler neck. It works as long as your truck has a carb.
