The hammer didn’t come into play for that. They aren’t as tough as they think they are. Especially when standing outside the truck and put 2 hands on it lol

'79 non tilt
'83 non tilt
'88 tilt (Burb)
90's gm truck/van (don't remember what it was from, but it was tilt)

Interesting. That top one is what looked very similar if not exact to what I was sent as "tilt" for my 78...

Maybe. The '83 and up seem to be interchangeable, just different bends.

I wonder what it looks like in my '77, it's tilt. I need a sunny day and some spare time to figure that one out... It's kinda buried in the barn right now.

Yeah, I've been home for over a week now. Been screwing around at home and not going to the shop, lol.

Well that clears it up lol maybe they changed column internals in 80 also

Speak for yourself! Yeah, I'm all sorts of confused now.... Since I bought my rig from one of my old tech's, I think I better have a closer look at that column.... Lol. It does have the proper wiper switch on the dash, and not the column. So the tilts have a longer distance from the pivot, to the first bend. Right??? Lol

Speak for yourself! Yeah, I'm all sorts of confused now.... Since I bought my rig from one of my old tech's, I think I better have a closer look at that column.... Lol.
