I have a 1985 C20 Suburban with 454. Not sure exactly which Transmission I have yet. But it is leaking ATF. Attached is a pic of the leak. Does anyone know what this part is? It looks easy to replace...but do I have to drain the ATF? Thanks.

There’s an o ring around the housing and a seal on the cable end.
New gasket kits are $12-20 and the whole housing with seals is like $50. Commonly available replacement parts. Can get em on Amazon even…lol.
It’s an easy fix.
