Anybody use classic industries

I bought my seat cover from classic industries about 2 or 3 years ago. It was the dark saddle color. It matched my interior pretty well and was very easy to install. I used the trash bag trick and they slid right on.

Please explain the "trash bag technique". Everyone is always looking for tricks to ease the pain!

Very easy installation aid. You cut open the large trash bags and cover the foam on your seat. This allows the seat cover to just slide right on without pulling or catching on the foam. When you get the cover just about all the way on, you pull the trash bags out. Works great.

Been there done that! I love classic ind. but like everyone else backorder delays. I got my serapa, Mexican blanket cover on Amazon. There are two on there, one sucks, thin and doesn’t wrap over the top with full material. 2nd one was great, thick like the ones in 70s, and wrapped over the top down the back of seat about 1/2 way.
I eventually just got the whole seat replaced anyway so think about that too.

Are those oversized ones meant for old old cars where it was two mattress spring assemblies which may have been thicker and at a 90 degree so needing more to cover

I've seen them do this before.. contact in 2-3 weeks.... Pftttt wtfe nice service, 7 months later and never bothered to follow up.

Thought I would update ya’ll. I tried a seat cover from classic industries and couldn’t be happier. Great quality, would 10/10 recommend.

trash bag trick is the same as the old bread sack in the rubber boots from when I was a kid....

Not bad, just wrong era! Some people like those like custom type smaller "race" steering wheels. Let's them "turn faster".
