That works for me, the name is good. I just wanted the name or code, you answered my question. Thanks.

This might be even more helpful for you! I woke up at 3am remembering this page from a GM Heritage Document I have on my computer. Whether these codes translate 40 years later or not, is the big question.

Yea those paint codes are still good. I was just wondering cause I didn't think it looked the same green as mine. I just had mine painted a few months back

Only new wheels, bumper Dash Pad and seat. Original paint has 80,120 on the original motor and tranny. The carpet is now cracked and needs to be replaced

His screeenname is Green79Scottsdale, so I am going to guess it is a Scottscale. But I could be wrong. LOL
I wasn't wondering the trim level, but the paint code, or exact color of green. He answered that for me. Someone else I think asked the trim or trim level?

Nice truck! Replace that tailgate that is full of holes too while you're at it!

I can't say mine is completely original but 90% of it is. I know the hood was replaced but the rest of the body panels are original. It has the original motor which has been rebuilt at least once, along with the transmission, t-case, and rear end. I don't think the front end was rebuilt. If I had to guess I would say the truck has 2-300k miles on it. The only thing I've changed so far is the tires and installed hydraboost. The seats were also reupholstered before I got it.

Now that's a mint truck

Thanks! It is fairly clean. The interior is pretty rough but it’s to be expected for a truck that sat outside for so long. My grandpa bought it in 77 and I inherited it when he passed. I’m hoping to replace the dash and seats and repaint the rest of the interior trim

Here is was in 77
