A folded up business card shoved in there works too, lol.
Yeah, that seems to be a popular one. For awhile there, i was thinking that was a factory option.... Lol

Same with those little round Velcro patches. The fuzzy side.
I am using the velcro things on the rear tailgate window, but the gaskets came to my mind for the ac vents because they already have a right size hole stamped

Working on my dash now. Glad y'all had some good pointers on the vents.

I also drilled a 3/16" hole in the top of each interior door handle cup. Installed (hidden) blue LED above the door cup to make a glow on the door latch in the darkness

I like this idea. I don't know if it's that I'm getting older, or because I've owned so many different vehicles over the years, but few things piss me off faster than not being able to find the door release in the dark. I run into the same issue with power window and lock buttons that aren't back lit, try to roll down the drivers window, end up locking the doors. Try to unlock the doors, end up rolling the passenger window down. Makes me glad my '84 is all manual.

It's like my muscle memory is programmed for vehicles that went out of production over 30 years ago.

Father Time has definitely throat punch me. But as far as creature comforts go, there are a few that I may always want. I mean I absolutely love cup holders in my 2014 truck! LOL

I also put dim LED lighting under the dash so I can find my chew when it slides off in the floor.

I wanted an overhead LED like my newer vehicles but went with a flag headliner and didn’t want to do an overhead console or anything.

This is just a good mod in general and now that i have it i will not get it. it is a CB I cant tell you how many times i come speeding thru a 70 doing let's just say 70 and i ask for a bear report and a trucker responds with a bear near marker # whatever or clear pedal to the metal.
