With the exception of troublesome power steering pumps my serpentine belt system upgrade is one of my favorites. It wasnt necessarily cheap though.

is that a factory ac/ps bracket just equiped with a/c delete pulley?

what length is your belt?

edit: disregard, I'm reading your build thread now...I hate search, I'll search specific phrases that I know I've read on here to reread them, and it'll return ''no items match this search''

The aluminum slotted rims are so much better than the fake bead locks.

Thanks, used a hole saw. Can use a drill instead, but was easier to put it on a mill

The rigidity of the vertical milling machine and the way you clamp it to the table is what keeps the hole saw from wandering and making a mess of the hole. A handheld drill or even a drill-press wouldn't give the same clean results.

you bought a L31 block based motor so you cant follow what I did with the water pump. You need to use the 96+ pump and pulley to match your block.

installed the aluminum hvac door actuator bracket today. There are also versions with a simpler replacement from a gate latch

gmt400 wheels look good to keep original style in case originals hard to find. Need conversion lugnuts in order to use the caps. Older squares are standard thread, while the caps for the hub cap are metric.

Everyone talking about hidden switches so I figured I would share mine. Did a steering column replacement and installed a free salvaged 96 or 97 column in my old 82 Blazer. After rewiring all of the new switches to my accessories I had the floor switch for the high beams free and spliced into the power wire for the HEI. Perfect stealth switch as now one asked what it was for and always assumed it was still high beam switch. I even killed the engine while driving one night because I forgot that was what it was for :)

A little late to the party here, but I like the OEM temp gauge in place of the clock and was hoping to get more info on how you did it? That gauge looks to be just another water temp with the symbol removed?

cucv have em stock for blackout for mission critical Operations

my truck's previous owner had a couple hidden 3 position switches put in. they're down near the fuse block left of the column. anyway i was wiring something in and when i was finished everything as far as the new accessory worked out great. then i went to drive the truck to my blind early a few days later and the tail light weren't working. i thought i accidentally messed something up. it turns out i bumped one of those switches by mistake. i've yet to trace them both to where they go, but the one 3 position switch disables lights in different combinations. turns out i can black the truck out so even the brake lights won't work. dude mustve been a poacher or drug runner, haha!!! unless other cucv trucks have this option to sneak around...
