Without the add-on convex, aren't those mirrors designed to be flipped around closer to the doors when not towing? Like flip the mirror facing forward, then swing the arm back towards the door? Not sure, just wondering.
Thats how mine are

Yeah, like the other guys said, they are. I was towing a lot for awhile, and got tired of moving and readjusting them by myself. My pass window regulator is AFU too, so I'd have to crawl in and out of the rig. I just leave them there now. Way easier for me....

I put the convex on the vertical portion of the mirror stalk with them tucked to the inside. So the convex is the farthest away.

Humm. Think I may have to try that. Seems like the viewing angles would be better. Thx

To some it might be dumb, but it works. Aluminum tape on the reflector part of the tail lights. It makes them pretty damn bright over the crappy silver paint.
What I used

Oh. My. God. Someone actually did that??? I mean, I live in Oregon, and it rains here all the time. Its not that hard to hit the wipers. I don't know, does anyone think that would be useful? For 38 bucks?

I thought @echo7bravo was being funny when he was talking about it....
I’m gonna defend the guy. In fact, I might do this. I hate not having intermittent wipers and reaching down repeatedly if it’s just drizzling.

I need to add these to my sig....keep forgetting about these.

head light warning buzzer (when you shut off the truck...takes 5 minutes to install):

Upgrade your headlight wiring to run directly off battery power utilizing relays. These old trucks drop voltage going through the old harness and light switch. Below is a schematic I drew up using 3 relays and provides Day Time Running lights. Add an oil pressure switch, to the ground on the left relay, so they don't turn on when the key is in the Accessory position....if you like.

Someone here on GMSB makes a plug-n-play harness ...or make your own.

Where did you get the headlight buzzer? I need to do that.

Well, I wasn't attacking him to begin with. I thought is was funny, since his reasoning for it, was that he wouldn't have to put his beer down. Hey, if its useful for you, then go for it....
