Damn bro! Mine shifts at about 4200 at WOT.

Really? Stock, my '88 7004r would shift at 4800-4900 or so... after the rebuild it will shift at about 5100. It downshifts easier now too. So if your putting along at about 25mph and punch it, that sucker kicks down and flat out scoots.

The th350's have no trouble winding out. The th400's shift too soon for my tastes, especially the Burb. There's no tach, but I think it shifts at about 4K, lol.

Put a car spacer on it? Maybe a 1 inch.

I think I may have a minor issue with my R4...it doesent seem to kick down as far as it should when you floor it...like at 25 mph.

it has one on there, still hits the big mushroom looking thing on the egr...

edelbrock sells an adapter arm but its $60...

edit: no longer need to worry, im switching over to a no smog truck... (very happy about that!)
