Just roll the fender lip up. I've got 20x8 US Mags up front on my '85 with 255/40s and never touch the fender

Got some coil spring stabilizers to give me some travel room vertically. Never rolled an inner fender before and these are brand new so I'm terrified of ruining the inners

How often do you tag your lower control arms on pavement heaves or raised manhole covers. Looks like from Georgia so maybe smooth road there. Here that is boarder line too low unless your on air.

Only time I've hit my lower control arms is if I put 2 wheels off in the dirt to get around someone and the pavement drops off too much lol. Manhole covers or anything else, I make sure to hit with the tire so I roll over them

You don't do anything to the inner fender, you roll the lip on the fender like where the trim attaches.

Thats not the issue. The issue is the inner tub. its going to tag the inner tub. so rolling the outer fender I don't think will help that issue. unless I'm looking at it incorrectly.

I didn't realize you were talking about the inners, I thought you were talking about the lip. Luckily, the round-eye trucks have much larger inner fenders. You'll likely still scrub sometimes but won't be too terrible. The '81-up trucks have much less clearance in there. On the highway, there's been multiple times before my SloshTubz that my tires nearly stopped and smoked from ramming into the inner fenders so hard.
