Drop a tool when you're in a bind and it will roll to "Dead Center" of the floor under the truck.

Or even better is when the tool is somehow just gone forever
That's what those extendable "magnet on a stick"'s are for. I use mine prolly every time I do much work on my trucks. Also very handy(pun intended) for holding small metal parts like distributor cap and rotor screws, and catching bolts etc. in the wrecking yards. Cause they definitely disappear into the caliche....

Dropped a bolt doing something one time, landed on top of the tranny between the dipstick tube and the kickdown cable. Like to have never found that bolt. lol. Think it was a header bolt.

I know I can't be the only one who's wrenched on a vehicle,on a gravel driveway, and had a bolt, nut, washer etc. land on the ground and turn into a piece of gravel....some of them I never found with the magnet!
Oh, you like watching me work, eh? Lol

I recently had knee replacement, and they gave me one of those old person reach grabber things and its great for getting those damn tools that do roll out of reach. Its now a permanent part of the garage tools and up there on top! I'll post a photo later in the new tools thread.
