Do you have battery voltage at B+ on the alternator? Do you have battery voltage at term 2 at the alternator with the plug plugged in? Does your dash light come on when you turn the key to the run position?

Wow, hadn't seen this message. Yes on volts, and the light shuts off while cranking. Currently waiting on shop, see what they find.

Done, it was the coil (stator). Leaving this here in case someone finds it useful. Diagnosed all parts, all of them pass the tests. The symptoms are a lowish voltage with the engine on, rising with rpms, and idiot light on.
First thing you wonder is regulator, test with battery, fast charger, and test light. Light should light up below 13.48volts, anything above that and it should be off.
Second suspect is brushes, polish where they contact with the rotor and make sure the carrier bearing has just enough grease as lube but not too much so it doesn't gunk the brushes.
Final suspect is the stator coil, it should be grounded, test for continuity on all three wires.
So, my coil still was damaged but still passed the test, what's the issue? Well, somewhere in the winding a couple of wires were touching, thus giving continuity, just not as far as they should. They tested for resistance at the shop, but I couldn't see the values when compared to the new coil. As mine was touching, resistance was lower.
Replacing the stator coil fixed the issue. /Thread
