Wondering/hoping someone here has some experience setting the clock on this thing. I’ve tried every combination of buttons I can think of and I can’t figure out how to set the clock. It’s an alpine 7168 model.

Have you tried a Google image search for the model number? That's how I figured out how to do it on my old Sony, along with manual tuning. The search turned up a pdf of the user manual.

I have a clock setting issue on my other DD, 2001 Elantra. So, when battery is disconnected and reconnected, clock starts at 1:00 and continues to work. When I need to change time, have to disconnect battery at 12:59 and reconnect and no more issues till next time change. This might work on yours.

Is that MONO button on the bottom right that says T ADJ also for time adjustment?

Ha! I had one of those back in 84. I don’t remember how to set the clock but I remember that radio.

Upon further reading that is definitely not the instructions for that radio. Hold adjust time button and turn the tuning knob maybe?

Wrong model number.

I searched the right one, but came up empty handed.

Reminds me of the Pioneer Super Tuner I had in my k20 years ago.
I wish the big audio equipment manufactures still made these for the squares.

I had Alpines and later on Denons back in the day....Made in Japan and 3x the weight of the new chi-com wussy decks. Sonys and Pioneers were also great.

Alot of these had secondary adjustments as a pull feature....like pulling the right knob. That T-ADJ is the clock IIRC and being its below 'MONO" - that could be a secondary button use. Maybe pull the knob while pushing the button?

You sir are a genius. Press and hold the T ADJ and turn the tune knob right to change the minute, left to change the hour. Jeez I feel dumb now. Thanks everyone for your help.

You are correct sir. T ADJ for the clock.
