Hello,

My name is Morgan, and I am the owner of this 1976 GMC K25 4x4.

It was purchased new here in Arizona by my great Aunt and Uncle. It sat for quite a while for the past 20 or so years. It has the 400 small block and is the Sierra Classic trim package. I recently swapped the TH350/203 for a SM465/205. The motor was rebuilt last fall and I decided to keep it mostly stock being that it will be used to haul wood and screw around in the woods. Plans are to get a new bedside on the passenger side and fix some
rust in the passenger door and get it painted. Hood has the “kink” and a little bit of rust so may need to replace that eventually.

Most pictures of it will be from driver side as the passenger side has its fair share of dents. Haha

Thank you folks in advance for the help.

The 465 is a darn good transmission. I've owned many, and what I currently have. That is a rare color combo. There is a truck just like yours that shows up at the square body reunion at Richmond In. I think it's an old Forest service truck. Really cool!!! JMO, the steel wheels and caps look really good.

Yeah I swapped the steel wheels and caps on it right after I got the motor back in it earlier this year. And yeah, I have only found one other truck With this color combo, not my favorite but it’s not bad.

Love the unique color combo. With it being so rare, it’s worth keeping it that way. Trust me, it’ll grow on you.

I struggled early on with the Yuba gold on my truck, but now I will not change it because that’s the color it has always been.

I am the same way. I want to paint my truck, but thinking about just keeping a coat of wax on it, or just clear coating it so it retains its factory paint.

Yes, it does look very good.
Put a 8" lift on it, cut it to a short bed, 38" tires, a 454 with a 871 huffer on top, all LED's; you know, just little things . . .

Here is the interior. New carpet, had a local guy reupholster the seat, Bluetooth classic stereo, cluster refresh. Other than the 3 sticks now sticking through the floor, it’s original.
