Air Hose

Looking for a recommendation for an air hose that is will stay flexible in the cold. Whatever I got now is so stiff it's almost impossible to use below 30°
What material should I be looking for?

I have 2.
One has a web-type covering and the other is a rubber-type.

The web-type is a little more flexible in cold temps. A little.

I've used goodyear brand hoses with success over the years

I use goodyear hoses and they seem to stay pretty flexible in the Missouri winters here.
Have not had any luck with the PVC as it never is flexible when warm out and certainly doesn't get better in the cold.

I do. It’s very good stuff. It doesn’t get out in the cold a lot but with the plastic dohickey at the ends it lasts a lot longer than regular hose. Been using the same ones for about 4 years at the airport with no issues other than having to replace the female fittings. They get wallered out, you know, like regular female fittings.

Haha!! There’s a couple people who disagreed with that statement for a few weeks not so long ago.

But that’s good air hose. I’ve never had one last this long.

For around the garage, do y'all use 3/8" hose or 1/2"

We use 3/8” at the airport but we aren’t using a lot of air usually. The sandblaster uses a lot but we’ve never had a problem. Normally it’s just rivet guns, drills, compression tests.

I use 3/8" hose and never had any flow issues and I do a lot of media blasting.

Thanks for all the advice, I think I'll try the Goodyear hose.
