Adding a Crane to the 59 Power Wagon

I was going to weld all of this into the bed but, after looking it all over, I would not have been able to change the forwards rear spring hanger bolt/bushings without cutting it all apart. grade 8 Counter sunken bolts.
Now, I will need to add in some bracing underneath and then this will be done.

When I read the title of the thread it made me think back to what my grandpa did with a '46 International. He used 4 long pipes, attached two of them to the rear part of the frame, and two to the front part of the frame to make an A-Frame so to speak. The rear pipes were probably 20 feet long or longer, and the fronts were 8 to 10 feet. The peak of the pipes had a pulley mounted to it and extended about 2 to 3 feet in front of the front bumper and the peak was about 12 to 14 feet up in the air. He ran cable from the front PTO driven winch up through the pulley and had a big old hook on the end of it. I remember one time he tried to lift something too heavy and the ass end lifted off the ground. And he had a bunch of scrap metal back there to weight the back of the truck. That truck was a beast.
