A small section of bed floor

My bed is perfect except for 50c sized holes where there was a 5th wheel. Been wanting to get a piece of bed floor panel and make matching plugs to fill them. Some grinding and spray in liner and its whole again. Dont have $2K for a new bed floor (w/shipping) - intended on buying a patch panel but the reviews all say the ribs are not the same size as the original. wtf?

16"x16" (nice) piece would be great.

I can attest to the patches not matching the contour of the ribbing. We carry them just cuz it's better than nothing but they don't line up. They're basically intended for woods trucks/"good enough"/still working them hard trucks. Definitely look around to see if you can find a piece of an original floor you can cut out for that

Mine is nice enough that to totally replace it was overkill. 3-4 yrs ago a complete floor panel was $800 and to ship it was $400. Now its $1200/$800.

These dont show up in yards around here enough to bet on getting a small section. If I had room I'd keep pieces of stuff like this around for just such an emergency.
