Has your wish list price exceeded the purchase price ? That’s when I know I need to slow down.

Yeah... I bought her with a little left over for maintenance/ mods as I knew it wasnt mint, but will just take longer to get there on a budget, but I know there will be a lot of OT upcoming....Has your wish list price exceeded the purchase price ? That’s when I know I need to slow down.
Thats good to know....did you have 2.7 or 3.4?I bought a new one in '99. Installed the TRD supercharger and exhaust. Changed gears (can't remember the numbers) so I could run 33" tires.
It was a nice truck (for a Toy). but it had a very flat spot right in the midrange. At the time there wasn't a chip or program update.
I sold the truck in 2003 when I started traveling. The guy who bought it was able to get the computer adjusted to richen up the midrange but then'he complained the fuel economy was terrible. It wasn't great before the supercharger was put on anyway. At 55mph it was ok but at 70mph it was brutal.
May as well been driving a freaking BB.
Well you are describing someone that seems all about comfort, and you should give one a shot as they are very comfortable, just make sure tou get the memory foam version, and not pleather stuffWhen I see those steering wheel covers, in my mind I see a slightly heavy set black girl in her pj’s and house shoes rolling out of her hooptie at Walmart.

Did you have 95-97, 98-00, or 01-04?The 3.4.
I don't believe there was a TRD supercharger for the 2.7.
Something else to mention, the charger didn't have an oil system, or maybe better to say it didn't get a lube line from the engine.
it had a sealed factory lubed bearings and TRD said they would have to replaced. And they did... after I sold the truck. The bower had
about 20,000 miles on it IIRC when the bearings started rattling. New owner contacted TRD in Cali and they requested he tear it off
and send it to them, which he did. Only a few weeks and the charger was back in his hands. They charged for the parts but labor was free.
All around 2004-5.
Thanks. They hold value so much most are un buyable unless your willing to overspend, or I lucked out and got one that needs maintenance, but was cheaper initial purchase price...Sweet truck, wish I could find older Yota's around here like out west.
