93 tbi 454

Dad is scrapping the work truck and I get the 454 (can't wait)
But I wanna switch from tbi to carb and put it in my 85
So as far as I know it's an intake change really? Just intake and a carb and it should do alright
I will be getting headers for it along with new dist, cam, and flat top pistons
It has 243,567 miles on it and has never been rebuilt
But hell I'll take it for free even if It will take a bit to switch to carb

The new dist. will need to be a non-computer controlled unit. ie "hei" or "points".
The flattop pistons will give you approx.. 7.9-1 compression , same as stock !

And far as pistons go it's a rebuild
It all depends on price
