Sorry I was thinking I saw your power lock relay for the RKE, but it appears to be the door controls connector..

I just think someone was in there before and installed a wrong part. Probably broke something and got the wrong part from the junk yard, then found out it didn't fit, then installed it anyway because they didn't want to go back and tear apart another dash.

Just a hunch.

I am going to have to find out how many defrost ducts and styles were produced...

But, nothing a little foam foiled backed roll-a tape can't fix.

Or if not, silicone to the rescue. :waytogo:

That would be cool, wouldn't it? My photoshopping skills suck with the paint program and MSPM. Then I would have to figure out what to do with the stock heater control hole, lol. I could put a storage pocket in that spot, so when I plug the ipod into the radio you can just sit the ipod into there. :)

X2 :popcorn::popcorn:

But...... John, what exactly are you all trying to do with removing your ducts and stuff????

I see the HVAC Control from a 90's Silverado... are you gonna set that up to work with your A/C in your Burb??

BTW... IMO.. I always thought those were the coolest HVAC controls in a Silverado.... I used to have a 92 Ext Cab, with the same set-up...

Even though I never really understood the idea behind the silly set-up with the stock stereo head unit in one spot, and the graphic EQ and cassette player far from reach in another spot.. :think:

I am killing the ac aspect of the truck and using the empty vents for other accesories, like a tach, storage, cup holder, etc.

Sunday I am hitting Home Depot to find that self adhesive ducting foil HRPC mentioned to seal that lousy defrost duct joint and also some 1/2 " PEC for the door strikers.
