Just curious on something... i'm aware this is sorta 73-87 'square bodies' but they used the same chassis (with a new grille) on the suburbans up until 1991 according to every reference I can find.
I'm just curious what notable differences there are vs a 1987 model if anyone knows offhand... (beyond visual modifications for the newer grille I mean)
I ask if it's welcome here because if i'm shopping for a replacement truck i'm wondering if I can pick brains here about those years or not (ONLY for Suburbans which shared that chassis) since they aren't really the newer 90's redesign.

PS - my reason for posting this in tech is because it is a tech question on differences, and will turn into a "advantages or disadvantages" question about whether it's better to look for "up to 87" vs "88-91" suburbans when i'm in the market later on...
