87 GMC V3500 frame swap

Greetings! Just joined the forum looking to learn and share insight and information with others. Stumbled across a super clean srw one ton frame and decided its time to refresh the 87 gmc. 454 tbi mated to th400/np205. Last fall I wanted to restore one of my trucks and unfortunately the gmc lost the decision as the 87 Silverado's frame was near perfect so I sent that one in for restoration. As luck turns out few months after I came across a very clean 84 srw 1 ton frame so im going to try my hand at a frame swap in hopes couple years down the road I'll be able to redo the sheet metal and repaint the gmc. Any tips and points are welcomed!

Hi Hotfoot, its pitted from rust in area's whereas this donor frame looks factory brand new. I'm a bit on the picky side and this will help me sleep better at night. Just another excuse to keep it off the salt here in Minnesota from now on
