86 Suburban From The Red Part of California

Hey, been creeping around for a bit. First time Chevy owner. Currently own a SASed 04 Nissan Xterra, a 1995 Ford Mustang (its for sale ) a 2017 Kia Sorento, for commuting, and now an 86 Suburban with a broken cam shaft. In have been a part of forums since 2007 but have since strayed away and moved to facebook, big mistake. Any ways, I'd post a picture but it seems photobucket is still the enemy and am having trouble figuring it out. So imagine a brown suburban with some faded paint and one mismatched wheel.

Welcome! I think it’s funny that you specified the red part. There are still a lot of good people in California, especially in the rural parts and more heavily concentrated in your area. It’s just the cities, the state bureaucracy/“leaders”/legal doctrine, and around half or so of the total population that are totally ruined. I would never live there, but maybe the people with a brain who stayed can keep it on ice if things ever do change for the better there. It’s a beautiful state, no doubt about it.

Yea typically I get hit with the Commifornia, flat lander, yuppie stuff. Its definitely home, and living in this area is way nicer then down south. A lot better opportunities for work and such. Mostly still here so I can be close to the parents.
