I pick up this truck a while ago, and am just now trying to get it how i want. The engine and trans is sorted, the next think i want to do is a lowering kit, not too extreme, thinking 3/5 drop.

I have this set up in the back, I assume its aftermarket and i will need to find new leaf spring mounts to make this work?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Nice looking truck. Yes you will need rear spring hangers for a 1-ton. I've only seen one of those suspension set ups in magazine ads. I bet it really would improve the ride. I know @Adam Moskowitz is converting his C20 3+3 (1-ton hangers) to an ORD shackle flip. Maybe he still has them.

wow...never seen that before. That is some creativity with the airbag setup on that. !!

If you are going to lower it, it would get rid of that airbag setup and find the factory rear leaf hangers, and drop it properly.

Welcome Derrick,

not aftermarket... it's home made. All it would do is adjust ride height. It wouldn't do anything for spring rate or load carrying. Might just give the
shocks more work to do, when lifted.

Lovely truck!
