86 C10 454 SWAP

So im swapping my square body with a brand new 454 running hei system only problem Ive ran into is that the truck has no spark it cranks but nothing. Everything on the truck is new! Even tested for 12v at distributor and everything seems to check out. also tried out a different distributor! Any suggestions!?

Check for spark at plug and make sure fuel pump is priming and got fuel pressure. That's where I'd start.

how are you checking for spark? If the distributor is properly installed and you are trying to fire it for the first time, do you have a timing light on it? Pics of your setup?

Does your 12v power source leave the distributor while cranking? Remember it needs to be constant 12v until you turn the key off

Flow chart. 12V constant at distributor (while cranking too), hot wire plugged into + battery terminal, coil grounded, coil carbon button installed, control module plugged in at both ends. Best wishes
