Swapping stock TH400 to (pretty certain is an) SM465 from an 87 K20. Are there any resources or procedure documents to help with this? I have all the juice clutch goodies, a fresh cut flywheel, sparkled up the bell housing, cleaned the trans, bought some seals and gaskets . . .
What I am most interest in is I have an NP205, and stock crossmember, do I need a different one, will the rear and / or front drive shafts need work because the auto trans is a different length than the manual?
I did attempt to search the database of posts, and went through 15 pages of them, then changed search terms, but got frustrated.
