Lol I've been trying for months. I just keep taking vacations and am always gone for stuff. I think I should be around this month though.
Then if I can, I will try to make it with Li'l Red, my Formula 350 TPI powered 1989 GMC Sierra sportside but may end up taking my 2001 Aztek GT, it gets a lot of attention there. My youngest will likely be there with her 1973 C30 - Big Bertha.

I'd be alot further if I wouldn't be getting screwed by parts whether it's wrong parts or won't fit parts. It's been a constant fight for the last month, everything I tried to do back fired or wouldn't fit or just messed up.

I just ordered the dash cap a week ago,it finally came in and was wrong, was for the 3/8 bar and not 3/4 like mine.

I got nothing as far as power windows, then trying to trouble shoot I unhooked them from the fuse box and now it fights me to get plugged back in.

It doesn't help that the cold is set in here and I don't move so well in the cold, plus my hands are giving me fits now going numb, hurting, swelling etc.

Damn, I feel your frustrations on that. These old cars sometimes like to mess with you. I have one crack starting on my dash and kind of want to replace it but it's not too bad and I don't want to hassle with it.

Other things like even finding headlight brackets or other things have frustrated me in the past as well. Right now I sprung a power steering leak and need time to get under there and replace that. It's always something. :)

I finally have windows in that work, plus the fuel tank is in and plumbed as well as the brakes. They have to be bled yet and no fuel in the tank or primed up to the front yet but it's in.

What brand paint/dye is that? What's your prep process? I've never done a color change on seats before (not that I remember anyway), just interior plastics and door panels.

this one is rustoleum. I've used duplicolor and sem. I just wipe em down with grease and wax remover then spray em. These I knew were clean so I used window cleaner with amonia, wipe on wipe off same as the grease and wax remover.

Looking good! The rear window channel looks a bit rough, is there enough meat there to get the glass sealed up without doing a bunch of metalwork right now?

pretty sure pic is misleading you with the interior panel in place and the rear trunk filler piece. it'sin good shape from what I've seen just has the rubber gunk all over it(next project).I see that rear trunk filler edge it is thin not wide, but it's kind of slides under the tip end of the window and the most sealing is done on the rear deck panel/package trey.I hope that's all it is if not then I might be tradin you or selling you another 2nd gen

not sure if a new one is any wider on the flange but I do kinda want to buy a new filler piece. then again I wanna buy a new deck lid and every other sheet metal piece, but that doesn't get me anywhere except lost interest and motivation
