mine is an original Z28 the only rust on it is the lower font fenders the quarters and underbody are rust free.

the interior is black but the carpet and door panels are gone and the seat frame on the driver side is broke.

I put a 400 horse 400 with a Muncie m-22 4 speed but I hate the 400(I don't like the way they run) and I got a borg warner super t-10 for it so I can put the Muncie in my chevelle.

so I am changing the 400/Muncie for a 350/super t10

very nice!!

I've got 2 14 inch keystones on the front now, but no matches for rears, and one is wider then the other, out back is had low backspace 15x10 cragars ss but they were rough, chrome flaking and pitted so I painted them silver to use for rollers. Tires are shot, just junkers for rolling around.

I'm going to try and buy 2 cragar ss 10's for the back with the 4.25 or so backspace they come with and run 295/50's then up front not sure if I want 7 inch wides or 8's. I'm thinking 8's, match tire height to the rear or go shorter height but as wide as I can up front without mods to help handling.

Both my lower front fender has a couple spots, rest is ok minus that frame rail in back, interior all plastic is super brittle.

Good looking marro, theres a few running around town localy. One was a 400 topped with an 8-71. And another is just a wee-O-5. The only problem I have with marros are that they are a unibody-spilt frame. Ive seen quite a few twist without connectors.

and btw, IM BACK XD

That bumper cover was on the shelf for 2 days and last night decided to jump off and land on the fenders.

fairly certain ps was from heater core it leaked on my headers when I installed them and you can see it's wet, it's been under the carport dry since june. not sure why the ds is bad, maybe the t-top leak without me seeing? maybe the windshield or cowl vents? I know the ds t-top outer seal leaked when washer down the outside of the driver's seat, but nothing anywhere else that I saw.

Time to figure it out and fix it.

Going to patch it up best as possible, or just install a new floor and be good for years to come?

I am seriously thinking that I may clean up the drivetrain and some fresh gasket for the trans, and if the camaro driveshaft is the right length, swap it all in the s10. I just need brakes for it, a drivetrain, and then fuel lines/brake lines which are all cheap enough, tires is what will cost me and/or wheels.

IF I do that, the camaro will become the long term project, since I want to do new carpet, repair any rust, paint, everything new, seat upholstery etc. I can always build the 350 I have that's roller cam ready, just have to track down a short tail th350 for it, or find a long tail or 700r4 for the s10 an swap trans later.

A buddy of mine had a '74 with a very healthy 454 when we were in high school. Car was always a blast to ride in. For me, the late 70's versions are what always come to mind when someone says camaro. They're definitely on the short list of cars I would consider owning. Maybe someday.
