Why would ya think itd sell for more in ATL?

The larger the city the more expensive the vehicles are
Since people in big cities earn more money and there’s more demand for vehicles

When I’m looking for a vehicle I always look at least 80 miles away from Atlanta, the price drops a lot for vehicles in rural areas

My son comes back from Lima Ohio pretty regular with a empty 53 foot flatbed
If you were closer to there I’d seriously consider buying it and have him bring it back just to resell

I think you should raise the price and advertise it in some large towns further away
Just make sure that’s clear in the ad where its at

They can’t go off route too far with their truck
Even when they are empty

Can’t go off route at all loaded because it’s usually an oversized load
State tells em what road than have to use and what time of day they’re allowed to drive on it

That’d sell like crack here in CA
Maybe drive it out here n sell it in a parking lot somewhere
unfortunately, it wouldn't pass smog...

even in my zip code, it'd have to pass at least at change of ownership...stupid laws

I agree, they just want us all zipping around in wind up cars. the harder they make it to keep them on the road, the sooner they think they'll get their way.

you can do an ls swap on that year of truck, but it has to have all the original (to the ls) emissions items. so the engine bay would need to look exactly like a 2004 Silverado or whatever it came out of. air box, exhaust, egr, cats, everything the donor had from the factory.

the rule is 1976 and newer gas vehicles can have newer engines installed provided they retain all original factory emissions equipment and/or C.A.R.B. certified replacements.

Find a place that can put it on a lift and take some high quality pictures of the bottom

Get some good pics of the cab corners and floors and rocker panels with the doors open

Might want to consider listing it on Bring a Trailer with a reasonable reserve (they won’t let you set a reserve that they think is unreasonable )

We got our squarebody from Arizona
Had a little rust but not much
And had a friend haul it to Georgia when he was coming cross country

It now has a LS 5.3 and a NV-3500 five speed and vintage air
We don’t know what year it really is
It has a AZ state issued VIN riveted in the door post

Some before and after pics

Would this rig be dependable enough to drive long distances? I don't care (right now) about the appearance just the reliability. Thanks, trukman1

The tires are pretty old. I would want to put new on it before any long road trips.

Really surprised no one has grabbed this yet! If this had come up last year at this time I'd be making arrangements to come take a look and probably take her home.

I really want it but spent out in the last few months. Shipping would be a bitch too.

How is the interior?
