So I got my new wheel studs, brake rotors and hub together today. I put the studs in and pounded those guys in like I've seen many people do. BUT, for some reason the damn rotor just isn't held down well to the hub. Its a fraction of a hair away from getting, but for my life I just cant get it to where it needs to be. its wiggles ever so much. Anyone here ever see this issue?

Yes, the studs are an exact duplicate of the originals. Yes, the rotor has big enough holes. Yes, the rotor is correct. Yes, I've routed out the holes with a wire wheel.....nothing like paint or rust is in them.

Any advice would be welcome.

I've used a press to install studs but have used stud pullers as of late. Using a wheel nut reversed & a washer while striking the stud will help draw the studs fully as well.

You guys were right! used an old large nut and a lug nut and synched em down pretty tight. Turned it over and she was snug as a bug.

Thanks for everyone's input. You guys rock!
