The poor quality reproduction step side fenders might be ok since they dont have to match up to stiff on all three sides like fenders hoods and doors
When you remove the wood , you’re gonna be very good friends with a grinder and a Dremel
The bed side actually sits on top of the wood so it’s a real pain
I used new cedar wood from a big box store and cut the grooves in it with a table saw
Wanted cedar since my truck sits outside all the time and oak with a stain and clear coat won’t last long outside
