78' dual tank switch valve [3 port]

I couldn’t find the one for my 78. It’s a k, do you think the valve is by the transfer case? I noticed that the fuel lines come under the cab are just two of them. So the switcher either is next to my t case under the cab or it’s missing. I thought it aS on the tank. But that was just the filler neck
I just showed a pic also of my 80, it’s been derelict for years and I can’t tell how many ports. If want it’s free plus tiny bit of money so not free most likely doesn’t work and full of mud

quite.although to be fair, its just as likely the wires to it were cut by either purposeful for some purpose id never understand or becsause they run under rusty, sharp pieces of hte bed unprotected and very likely could have been damaged(wire to solenoid, sender wires for gauge, rip switching operation)

but its been sitting open like that for probably 15 years and used just generally for many years

Based on what I’ve seen, the stock location is on the passenger side, using a small bracket to bolt it to the frame near the tank sending unit. This is a picture of a six wire, six port valve on a truck at the junkyard. I bolted my single wire valve on the same way.

IF that is the case, then my 78s valve must not be present on the truck. I dont even know what it looks like. But that area where the tank would be is unoccupied
