77 yellow trim?

So i found this add on C-list and one thing stood out.... one year only, yellow stripe cab trim. Is this true for one and for two is this something i should grab for someone who may need it or just to have due to rarity? Heres the link... i know ive seen people asking for it on here before.

77 is the only year with the yellow stripe. I've only seen repos in black.

It was also used on the '75 Gentleman Jim, I believe. I wonder what they mean exactly... the rear cab band, maybe? 150 seems very high if it's just the little side pieces for the cab.

Was it the trim that runs the whole length of the truck maybe?

I dunno, it just says cab trim? No mention of trim for the fenders, doors or bedsides.

Well anyway.... should that be something i grab just for the sake of rarity and may someone need it later?

If it's the rear cab band, it seams like people are always looking for those. I don't know if the yellow trim on it would add to the value though, just depends on who's buying.

The side body trim is hard enough to find now, let alone the yellow trim. But that price is too high if it's just the 4 little pieces that go on the cab sides.

Well from looking at the pics the only truck pictured that can be a 77 doesnt have side trim but i did message him about other parts and did ask so we shall see.

I have extra tailgate piece black center from LMC kit came with two, I only needed one

that's the one I used, tape off, spray 2 coats, then removed tape and scuffed with steel wool to try to match the other trim

Yep, those are yellow too.

I *think* the only trim that didn't get the yellow was the optional grille trim. But maybe they did and the yellow paint wore off long ago.
