I have a 1974 c10. Will the 1977-87 doors work!? As far as body lines, latch, door mounts, etc.... I tried searching and can not find what the differences are other than the internals.

They will fit. Its just the inner skin that's different to accept the 77-80/81-87 door panels and the power window regulators.

Like he said. When I got my 74 the previous owner had upgraded it with 83 doors with PW/PL.

73 to 80 had thicker windows 81 and up were thinner to save weight
and they do not interchange unless you use the correct window channels

Hey guys! I'm new to the site and I have been searching
And searching for about 40min..

This seams to be the best thread to post.

I have an 88 3500 I'm wanting to use the older style
Fenders in the front (the ones with the trimming"
I will post pics in the morning.

Welcome to GMSB Pazz. That is a different topic, so please just start a new thread and ask the question and post the pics if you would. Thanks

What you're wanting to do can be done. But lets keep the details in another thread. Normally, it's the other way around. Guys want to put a 81-91 front clip on a 73-80 truck.

Here is a link to the Paint and Body Category, Simply click NEW THREAD in the upper left almost into the top corner.
