They have a good book on those too....
They are easy. Just like a normal good carb jets and no power valves. Hardest part is choking down the 40 some od bucks the parts stores want for a rebuild kit

There is plenty of info on the internet to tune that carb. I would start with making sure the primary throttle blades aren't open to far rendering the idle mixture screws useless.

It won't run at dead idle because it floods itself out

By they, you mean gas was correct? Accually not being smart just clarifying.

Is the top of the float at the hole or the fuel level at the hole??, proper setting is the fuel at the hole..
