Hi, I'm so cramped against the steering wheel. I'm wondering what seats work for conversion. Has anyone had any luck with swap-outs from other models or aftermarket? Hoping to get something from the junkyard...

-Thanks, TJ

Is the seat track froze or corroded up enough that it won't go back to the furthest point? Are there items behind the seat blocking it from going back? Do you have a tilt steering column?

It's tight no matter what and no tilt. I will be looking into tilt as well. Gonna try to get every fraction I can...

dvdswan, had a good point! I'm a big guy, but that being said I had to reach under the seat and pull on the cable to release the opposite in order to move the seat.

Were did you get those, or what vehicle did they come out of, and mounting hardware compatible with stock mounting holes?

The tilt column gives more room than a standard column. Not because of the tilt feature, but because they seem to be shorter.

I got them out of a 2016 Tahoe
I adapted my brackets onto the seats and used a little frame to attach the two seats together

So I ended up cutting off that c channel
It was more of a tacked welding brace but here’s my little frame I made
And it’s the second row from a 2016 Tahoe
I kinda wished it had a flop down arm rest but I’ll survive
I have one of those ole igloo console things

Also thinking I might either have the head rests removed or have the Chevy logo stitched into them
