My k10 does not have one. I would like to put one on. I found a 1980 skid plate but want to make
sure they are all the same, or if there are certain years for fitment. Thanks

It depends on the transmission crossmember. There's a couple very informative threads about the transmission crossmember differences. Skid plates were talked about as well.

Mods please delete this thread. I could not see it from the side. So i figure I did not have one.
I was looking at pictures to see what crossmember I have and seen the plate bolted to the
crossmember. At least im pretty sure thats the plate.
