Curious, Did the OP sell the guard that was originally posted? It all got a little confusing for me?

Hahahahaha! Just kidding, I still have it. I just got back from a baseball game and I'll be hitting the garage early to clean it out so I can start storing the c10 in there. I'll pull the brush guard apart and get dimensions at some point in the day. Stay tuned!!

Well, I hope I didn't let people's hearts fall too far down! :idiot: I didn't have enough time to get the bumper pulled apart but I did get the garage cleaned out enough to get the c10 in there. :happy107: I'll see if I can get to it this week. Sorry for the delay guys.

Anyone actually interested in buying this thing though??

I'm interested but there's variables. If it can break down then shipping should be fairly cheap and easy. If so, then I might be able to make an offer on it, but I don't know if our ballparks are the same, lol.

Maybe the title should be amended to note this will only fit the early 73-80 bumpers. Takes some of us out of the running.

Selling tip, the horizontal bars should be able to be turned around so that whammy would be against the grill and you wouldn't see it.

Not a bad idea...I'll try that when I get around to tearing it down.

How do I go about changing the thread title??

My son in law is maintenance manager at a company that makes dump truck beds. They have state of the art tables and can powder coat anything. If I get my lunch hooks on some patterns this will happen.
If you still want a pattern, I’ve got a bar for my 78. It’s not for sale, but I can send you whatever pictures and measurements you need. It’s not on the truck right now so it would be easy.

Thanks man, that would help out. The length of the tubing, the thickness of the flat metal and if I could get the ends traced and mailed to me would be awesome. And pics, especially where the tabs mount to the bumper. I'll message you my info.

Sorry to kind of hijack your for sell thread, I would have gladly bought it but my trucks are all mid eighties. I'd still like to make both styles though.
