What all would be involved in putting a '73-74 Chevy grille on my '77 GMC? Would I need the older trucks core support? Is there a way to put the GMC badge on instead of the bowtie? Thanks.

You need left, right, and center grille supports. Then you'll possibly need to change the hood latch too I believe. Don't know about the emblem.

There were also different year interchanges for hood latches. Generally 73-74/75-76/77-80. GMC varies a little from chev.

Don't have to change the core support. I've been planning on doing it too. Someone that has done it can confirm.

It should only require the grill supports from the older truck, although I’m not sure how it changes if you have an inside hood release. Older trucks need s notch in the grill for the external hood release.
